Founder, Space Engineer and Mom

I’m Khooshboo Dani, and honestly, my journey has been a bit of a rollercoaster. I started with a Bachelor’s in Aerospace Engineering in India and landed my first job in airworthiness compliance — auditing aircraft records at FLYdocs, learning the ropes of an industry I’d only studied on paper until then. From there, I packed my bags for the US to pursue a Master’s in Astronautical Engineering at USC, where I got to work on everything from teaching assistantships to leading a U.S. safety team alongside ten European teams on the STRATOFLY hypersonic vehicle design.

Then life pulled me back to India for personal reasons — and instead of putting my career on pause, I used that time to found my own company, Kaanha Aerospace, diving into additive manufacturing and R&D. Eventually, the pull of new opportunities brought me back to the US, where I’ve since worked on space exploration advisory at Deep Space Therapeutics, built Spacedani as a space I could call my own — and along the way, welcomed a little one into my life and navigated the very real challenge of balancing motherhood with a career I love.

Every twist in that path — the countries, the industries, the restarts — is part of what I now bring into every consultancy conversation.
